I painted this portrait during my last stay in Seville, steeped in the traditions that make up the cultural identity of this city. Pastel, salmon and black tones are used to build the face and hands of this young gypsy. These two traits function as identifying components and as at the same time, they are the expressive force of the subject. between classicism and expressionism I depicted this character with a particular reflective sensibility, in order to portray his innocence. full of feelings. mixing the drawing of human figure with a violent stroke that acts as a transmitter of emotions.
