Self-portrait, 2018

About

This self-portrait with arabesque motifs was carried out in Seville, with the intention of reflecting the enigmatic and oriental luminosity that fills the Andalusian city. It works as an embodiment of the artistic subject, trying to show individuality under a romantic gaze. The colors used are bright and with plenty of light. The calligraphy of the background refers to the textile works of William Morris. The expressive intention of the work follows one's thoughtful mindset, open to the intangible world.
