This work shows a hand holding a rose, trying to depict the relationship between poetry and painting. In order to enhance visual suggestion, greens and carmines are used rigorously, creating a chromatic harmony. It is framed in a romantic style, influenced by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, as it represents a vision that is not identified with contemporary and political problems. The communicative purpose of this gesture lies in the search for values based on what is spiritual.
